How I Got Started In Web Design and Affiliate Marketing

I started in website design back when I was running a licensed daycare out of my home. I started with Godaddy’s Website tonight and started building an affiliate website on www.tracysgiftstore.com. I became an affiliate for many companies and put them on the website. The only problem was , I was not getting any traffic to that website. I also did not know how to measure any traffic even if I were to get some. So, after feeling completely swamped and overwhelmed,I decided to change that website to use for my daycare. That I could do. I made myself some business cards and used that website to promote my daycare business and did not look back into affiliate marketing until recently.

Today, I follow a guy called Pat Flynn, who knows a lot about affiliate marketing. I listen to his podcasts regularly and have used some of his tips to start working in affiliate marketing again. I don’t have a lot of time to dive into affiliate marketing because of my client work load, but I do try to incorporate some affiliate marketing into my everyday work. I have a website that I used to use for social media education called Like to Share Pages, that I plan to use for all my favorites products and will have affiliates links to some of those products. It’s slow going but I’ll add every so often to that website. As I get better at it, I’ll let you know what I find works.
