My First Social Media Marketing Experience
Once I started the Thankyouthoughts.com website for slideshow design, and a facebook page for it, I realized I was not getting any traffic to my Facebook page or my website. I did not have any experience with marketing online or any money to pay for advertising. So after some research, I found these networking groups on Facebook where you add your page to the fan page party post and started getting new likes. I realized that was also an opportunity for me to start the same thing. So I started a Facebook page called Like to Share and starting designing my own graphics for networking parties. It was going fantastic at the time because that was in the earlier days where everyone was seeing what you posted. I also realized I could make some money at this by having business owners pay me to put their pages into my post and requesting that everyone who else who also posted, have to like their pages first. In addition, I created a website called www.liketosharepages.com (which is still up today but totally different and needs work) and through that website I also had a directory for small business. I gained over 300 reviews, below are some examples.
But it did not last long, Facebook changed the algorithms and hardly anyone was coming to my posts anymore. It was the same for all the other networking pages as well. I was loosing clients who were paying for me to put their Facebook pages into the post. It was not long before I started thinking about new ways to use social media marketing to promote my slide show business online and that was when I thought doing something more local would be the answer.. that was when www.smallbizmke.com was born.
As I look back I wish I did not take out all of the content on that like to share pages website, but I wanted to move forward and felt that business was now obsolete. The theme for Like to Share pages that used was Elist by Elegant Themes (now Divi) and the theme for Thankyouthoughts.com is still Hatch. The Like To Share Facebook page is still up and try to do the networking events on their still, but there is very little interaction. I hope that one day I can get it going again. 🙂 Social media marketing keep changing, so I guess I need to keep changing with it.

Like To Share??
This day and age you can never have to many shares, pages or otherwise, your name needs to pop up everywhere. If people feel comfortable with you and see you’re serious about your business, it will explode as the trust is there to work with a person who cares.

Great Way To Inter-Network!
We enjoy sharing content that is value in fact we started this case study on a brand new fan page before we met Like To Share during our testing stage with the theme Facebook Fan Page Party Fridays, with the help of “Like to Share” fan page Admins and participation it really helps alot. Social media positive energy type images that encourage others is what they share and that is what gravitated us to them. We recommend and endorse Like to Share’s page they know and understand what is the power of social media influence as much as we do.

I have been frequenting the Like To Share page for several weeks now and have found it to be truly AWESOME! I have gained many new and much appreciated fans and have made some wonderful new friends using this site! I can’t possibly say enough good things about Like To Share!
