It always comes back to this:
Relationships
I’m hosting or attending small business networking events multiple times a week, all on either Zoom or similar virtual platforms. Before the pandemic, I was providing networking events in person once a month and attending a few others. I knew that if I was not able to stay in touch with the people I was seeing regularly, it would be difficult to continue moving forward. So there had to be a way, even during this pandemic, to continue to build those relationships. What I did not see coming were the opportunities to create so many new ones! If you are in the small business world and are looking to reach new people and create new relationships, I encourage you to start attending some of these networking events on Zoom.

Don’t forget to join us at the two weekly Small Business Milwaukee networking events! Introduce yourself to other small business owners and talk about what is and isn’t working for you. Meet new people. Get great ideas.
What I Am Up To
The other night I allowed myself to celebrate a bit. What I’ve been working on for nearly a year was finally introduced during a networking event. If first responses are any indication, it went well. You will hear more about this endeavor (which involves you) next month!
Digital Marketing Tip
Branding your business always takes on a life of its own. Small business owners juggle so many parts of their operation that, many times, branding seems to fall to the way side. We all start with great intentions and then…we get busy. We get overwhelmed and the consistent presence we are trying to maintain gets long forgotten because we are growing and expanding. It’s not a bad problem to have, it’s just something that you should be reminded about.
